  A Good Time Was Had by All
At The Annual Participant Picnic & ADA Celebration!

On Tuesday, August 31st, 2010, The Northeast Independent Living Program (NILP), of Lawrence, celebrated our Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) 20th Anniversary Recognition Picnic at our beautiful 20 Ballard Road Facility in Lawrence. Fifty (50) + people, our friends and families came to enjoy a Wonderful Picnic and to Celebrate The 20th Anniversary of The Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA)! Here are some nice memories of the ADA Event, and stay tuned, because more pictures are coming!

  The Northeast Independent Living Program, Inc. is celebrating its' 30th Anniversary. Over 3 decades of providing services for people with disabilities and their families. Please help us mark this day by attending our gala celebration !!!

  Time: 6:00-9:30 p.m.

• On the third Wednesday of each month - The NILP Board of Directors meets at our office (20 Ballard Road in Lawrence). Commencing at 5:30 pm. Meetings are open to the public. Subcommittee meetings are not, and are held at various times each month.
• Spanish Peer Counseling Groups/Supervision (Oliva Tejada's Group)
• English Peer Counseling/Supervision Groups (Jo Bower's Group)
• Every other Tuesday afternoon - AST Peer Groups
• Fourth Wednesday of each month - The LOVE Group meetings (Lawrence Organizing Voices for Empowerment)
• September 14 and 15, 2010 - Annual State IL Conference, Marlborough
• October 19, 2010 - We are very Pleased to Announce that on October 19, 2010, NILP will hold its 30th Anniversary Celebration and Annual Meeting! Stay tuned for more details.
